We offer a range of greeting cards, clothing, tote bags, seed cards, charity gifts, and other merchandise, with prices varying by product. All current prices are displayed on the product pages in our online shop.

Will clothing colours look exactly the same as shown online?
We do our best to ensure product images accurately representthe items we sell.
However, colours may vary slightly depending on your device’s screen settings.
Are your products recyclable?
All our printed paper products, including greeting cards, seed cards and their packaging, are fully recyclable and printed using environmentally conscious materials wherever possible.
Our seed cards can be planted to grow flowers, making them a sustainable alternative to traditional cards.

Yes.
Our tote bags are designed to be reusedagain and again, making them a practical alternative to single-use shopping bags.
Are all your cards blank inside?
We’ve left all our cards blank so that you can personalise each one you send according to its recipient. Our charity gifts feature a short message detailing what the impact of the gift, with space to personalise it.
What are seed cards?
Seed cards are eco-friendly greeting cards embedded with flower seeds. Once the card has been enjoyed, it can be planted in soil where the seeds will grow into flowers.
Planting instructions are included with each seed card.
How do I plant my seed card?
Plant your seed card in a pot or directly in the garden, cover lightly with soil, and keep it moist. Place it somewhere warm and sunny and follow any specific planting instructions supplied with the product.
Germination times may vary depending on the seed variety and growing conditions.

What is a Charity Gift?
A charity gift is a meaningful alternative to a traditional present.
Instead ofpurchasinga physical gift, your donation helps support the work of St John's Hospice.
The recipient receives a beautifully designed card explaining the impact of your gift, along with space for your own message.
Orders and delivery
I’m having problems placing my order online, can you help?
Of course, we’re always happy to help. Please call us on 0207 806 4011 and we can help guide you through purchasing cards on our website. Alternatively, you can visit our charity shop on St John’s Wood High Street or our hospice where our range of cards and gift wrap are available to purchase in-person.
I haven’t received my order, can you help?
If you think your order may have been lost in the post, please email retail@hje.org.uk or call us on 0207 806 4011. We’ll ask for your full name and address and details of your order including when payment was taken from your account.

Donate, join us at an event, give in memory, fundraise, or volunteer at our hospice or charity shop. There are so many ways you can get involved with St John’s and help us to provide quality, holistic care to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Returns and refunds
How do I return an item?
We hope you are happy with your order. If there is a problem with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of purchase, provided they are unused, in their original packaging (where possible), and in the same condition as when you received them.
This applies to our physical products, including greeting cards, seed cards, clothing, tote bags and other merchandise.
To begin a return, please email retail@hje.org.uk with your order details so we can identify your purchase and advise you on the next steps.

Unless you are returning an item because it is faulty or incorrect, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. We recommend retaining proof of postage until your return has been processed.
Please note: Charity gifts represent charitable donations and cannot be returned or refunded, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will process any eligible refund using your original payment method.
When will I receive my refund?
You will be refunded via the same method used for payment. Please allow up to 14 days for refunds to be processed.
If you are returning the items to us due to a fault we will refund the postage costs as well. Please retain proof of postage.
Please note that we are not able to offer returns and refunds on our charity gifts as these are classed as donations.
